Our exclusive Ogham necklaces have been carefully designed & curated by our in-house team of jewelers.

Giving nod to our humble Irish roots, our Ogham Pendant is based on Ogham, an ancient from of writing which flourished in Ireland from the 4th to the 7th Centuries AD. It takes its name from Ogma, the Celtic God of Eloquence and Literature.

Individual letters were formed from groups of straight or slanting lines carved on the edges of Wooded Staves or Boulders. Most of the surviving examples are straightforward inscriptions, but the system was widely employed by the Druids and was thought to have magical overtones.The Ogham Alphabet may also have been linked to the Druids’ interest in Tree Lore. Each character represents a different tree and thirteen specific trees represent the thirteen lunar months of the calendar year.

Ogham is based in old Irish, and as a result only 20 of the typical Latin characters have Ogham equivalents. Therefore the letters J, K, V, W, X are absent from the Ogham script.

Remove Jewellery Before Entering Swimming Pools and Spas – Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in jewellery causing colour changes and tarnish.
Contact Sports and Jewellery Don’t Mix – Apart from potential damage to your jewellery, it is dangerous if items get caught or entangled.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

Remove Your Jewellery Before Bathing – Soap can cause a film to form, making your jewellery appear dull and dirty.
Use Jewellery Polishing Cloths for Best Results – Polish silver or gold with a jewellery polishing cloth for best results. Use of tissue or paper towels can cause scratches because of fibres in these products.
Clean Your Jewellery with Care – Bleach can literally destroy jewellery so avoid it at all costs.
Use Warm Water to Clean Jewellery – Using warm mild soapy water is the best option when cleaning your own jewellery, if you do not have a jewellery polishing cloth. A soft toothbrush is ideal for reaching into hard to access areas in rings.

Tarnish

Tarnish is a product of oxidation, caused by interacting of silver jewellery or objects with certain elements such as oxygen or sulphur as well as with certain acids. Tarnishing on silver jewellery, when worn on a regular basis usually does not occur.
Storage for a prolonged time causes silver jewellery to tarnish. Taking a medication that changes the acidity of your skin may also cause silver jewellery to tarnish. Cosmetics, perfume, deodorant etc can also cause tarnishing to your silver jewellery.
To keep your silver tarnish-free, frequently clean your silver in a mild dishwashing liquid diluted in water, rinse well and then thoroughly dry your silver jewellery. Always store silver in a dry container or a plastic bag with anti-tarnish paper.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship to Ireland, Europe, Canada, UK and USA. Shipping costs will apply and will be added at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?
It depends on where you are in the world. Orders for delivery within Ireland will take no more than 4 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 5 to 7 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

What should I do if my jewellery breaks?

We understand how important your jewellery is to you, and we're here to help if something goes wrong. Here’s what you need to know:

Solid Gold Jewellery
Our solid gold jewellery comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If your piece is deemed faulty, we’ll do our best to provide a replacement.

Gold-Plated and Silver Jewellery
Gold-plated and silver pieces are covered by a 6-month warranty under the same conditions.

Out of Warranty?
If your jewellery is outside the warranty period, don’t worry—repairs may still be possible for a small fee. Simply fill out our returns form to start the process. Please note that customers are responsible for return postage costs.

In-Store Assessment
You can also bring your jewellery to our shop at 42 William Street, Galway, H91 XR71, where a team member will assess it in person.

Repair Turnaround Time
Repairs typically take up to 6 weeks to complete.

Can I return my product?

Returns and Exchange Policy

We always strive to ensure our customers love our products. If you need to return a full-priced item, we’re happy to offer an exchange for another product or provide the value on a gift card within 14 days of purchase. Please note that we do not offer refunds on any items.

Earrings: For hygiene reasons, returns or exchanges on earrings are not accepted.
Sale Items: All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or gift card credit.

In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your full-priced item, the cost of returning the item will need to be covered by the customer. Once the return is processed, we will assist you with an exchange or gift card as outlined above.
